Breaking up effector falloff in C4D R20 / R21 using fields
AKA.... how to get the “weight transform” method from R19 and below to work using fields. I’m sure many of you have realized that you can no longer use weight transform to break up your effector falloff, now that fields have been introduced. And I couldn’t find anything online about how to accurately reproduce this look. BUT, after a lot of asking around, my friend Teddy Gage was able to get in touch with Orestis Konstantinidis and Bernd Lutz (from the C4D dev team!), and they provided this solution. I hope it helps you all out in your projects.
Let me know if you have any questions - I’d be happy to help if I can. And as this is my first tutorial please don’t hesitate to let me know what I could do better going forward.
Have fun!
