When The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was released there was quite a bit of hype around it. The graphics looked stunning for it’s time and it promised a mysterious adventure for you to solve. It was indeed a pretty cool and immersive experience, but has not aged all that well over the years. It’s a bit slow and can feel a bit random at times with certain things sticking out. Now those random bits actually do get explained by the end, but I personally wished it would stick more to the actual mystery that you had to solve. All in all it’s an okay experience that won’t last you too long so it’s good to delve into and spend an afternoon in this mysterious place. #horror #mystery #gaming #nocommentary
