This Wish (Italian) Lyrics & Translation

An open letter to Disney: Dear folks, I think you’ve snooped quite enough into adaptations in other languages, and it shows. These lyrics might look close to the original lyrics on the surface, but, excuse my French, they sound ugly as fu*k in Italian. If you keep stressing lyricists so they remain “faithful” to the original, the results will be stuff that looks close to the original when back-translated, but is in fact awfully worded. This has gone on long enough. Stop poking your nose in things you’re not competent in (because it SHOWS that you’re basing your opinions on translations, not on the lyrics in their actual language) and let lyricists do their job.
