Disarmament? (1932)

Full title reads: “Geneva. Disarmament? Whilst China & Japan are fighting ’tooth & nail’, Mr Henderson opens first World Conference on Disarmament - sixty Governments being represented.“ Geneva, Switzerland. Exterior of large building. C/U sign above door in French - “Conference pour la reduction et la limitation des armements - Entree des Delegues.“ Women delegates at the disarmament conference (wearing fur coats) walk towards the entrance. A newsreel cameramen is recording their arrival. Interior of Conference, three men sit at top table. In front of them are several microphones. In the middle is Arthur Henderson, who welcomes the delegates to the Conference. High angle of Conference hall. Delegates are seated at desks. Henderson continues speech - he refers to the Sino-Japanese war going on at that time. Cut away to delegate. Longer shot of the Conference podium. Cut away to MS of conference.
