Self Portrait 2020 [Speedpaint]

this was my final for a digital illustration class at SCAD! its representative of how focusing too much on a small problem tends to make it progressively worse, like overwatering a plant. sometimes the best thing to do is just leave it alone and tend to the rest of your garden ive taken up patio gardening lately, and it feels really nice to have a hobby outside of art. all plants in this painting are my actual houseplants, besides the monstera (but i really want one!) music: Cosmica by Sublab and Azaleh Passion by Sappheiros Cascade by Cash and Blackbird
