Nepal - Sri Chinmoy Statue (2011)

The statue of spiritual teacher and peace advocate Sri Chinmoy has been officially inaugurated in Nagarkot, about 1 hour outside of Kathmandu in Nepal. Many officials and hundreds of students of Sri Chinmoy from around the world were present for this auspicious moment. The site is overlooking the Himalayan peaks. Among the speakers were Deputy Prime Minister Koirala, former Prime Minister Chand and former Prime Minister Bista.
