The Chancellor ended his speech on the occasion of Zelensky’s visit with the slogan “Glory to Ukraine.” […] It was first used as a greeting by the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists led by Bandera. What prompted the Chancellor, in light of this history of this greeting, to use it in the Bundestag? “This is a cry that gained recognition after Russia’s brutal attack on Ukraine. It reminds us of a free, democratic and European Ukraine. Tomorrow these same people will say that “Sieg Heil!” - this is now a free and very democratic slogan. So what?
