Full title reads: “Thousands attend deeply impressive service in Liverpool“. Armistice Day, Merseyside. M/S of people laying wreaths on steps of building with columns (could be Cotton Exchange). M/S of four representatives of armed forces - soldiers from army, sailors from navy - standing around pile of wreaths. M/S of four soldiers playing bugles - looks like last post. Panning shot of crowds standing in silence. M/S of procession marching past steps of Exchange. Men and a few women in black shirts march past saluting with right arm folded across chest. Two of the men carry flags; one Union Jack, one with axe-head symbol on. The procession appears to be some kind of fascist movement - probably Italian as Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists did not start until 1930s. C/U of sailor beside wreaths.
