Drama — Drama 1972 (Netherlands, Hard Rock) Full Lp

In 1970, Dutch musicians Polle Eduard (“Tee Set”, “After Tea”), Ton “Shell” Schellekens (“In Crowd”, Big Wheel) and German keyboardist Ulli Grün (“Boots”, “After Tea”) organized group “Drama“. The guys were pretty cool musicians, but the group truly blossomed with the arrival of a young talent - virtuoso guitarist Frank Van Der Kloot (“Bobby’s Children“). Already the first performances attracted increased attention from record companies to the group. Hans Van Oosterhout, the producer of “Supersister,” provided a lot of help to the guys. The single “Mary’s Mamma,” released in 1972, written in a manner unusual for the group, became a megahit in Holland. The debut album “Drama” was also well received, but soon after its release Ulli left the group, moving to Germany. Until mid-1973, the three of them performed together, and then Frank and Ton formed a new team, Fontessa, and Polle began a solo career. Tracks: 01. Dreamed I Was The President — 00:00 02.
