In this video I talk about the main reasons why you might lack confidence in English. First, you might lack confidence because you simply don’t have enough experience speaking the language. Remember, as you improve, your confidence will increase. Second, You might lack confidence in English because you’ve had some traumatic experiences. Maybe a teacher embarrassed you in front of the whole class, maybe your friends make fun of your accent, or maybe you lost an important promotion because of your level of English. Finally, you might lack confidence simply because you have some kind of underlying fear. Maybe you are afraid of making mistakes. Maybe you worry about what others will think about your grammar. Perhaps you worry about people judging you. Most language learners struggle with confidence during some point in their journey, so if you don’t... you’re lucky! :) I hope this video encourages you. I truly want you to become a confident English speaker so you can take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities this language has to offer. Don’t let fear hold & bad experiences hold you back! Work on your mindset and DECIDE to be confident. The freedom you’ll experience as a result is SO WORTH IT. Trust me. I struggled with confidence in Spanish for years, so I know what this is like. Anyhow, feel free to share your thoughts with us in the comments. I look forward to reading them! :) ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Download our free guides: →Practice your English with Native Speakers: →Official IPA guide: →Grammar guide to the Present Perfect Tense: →Intermediate to Advanced Masterclass: Connect With Me 🙋🏼‍♀️ → Newsletter: → Instagram: → Facebook: → Twitter: → Business Inquiries: stefanie@ Follow English Full:Time 👇🏼 → Website: → Instagram: → Facebook: ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ’s) 🌎 Where are you from? -California 🗣 Do you speak another language? -Yes, I learned Spanish and speak fluently. ✈️ What countries have you traveled to? -Mexico, Argentina, Ireland, UK, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy 🇦🇷 Have you ever lived abroad? -Yes, I have lived in Argentina since January 2013 🤷🏼‍♀️ You speak too fast.
