LAHAKAI SAILING // Ep30 // In our sailboat restoration project, we are tackling the interior work and starting with installing insulation. We researched the different types available in Brazil and opted for a new technology inspired by space suits and thermo water bottles. However, things didn’t go as planned and we faced unexpected issues that forced us to take down the insulation we just installed. To add to the challenge, we underestimated the amount of insulation needed and ran out halfway through the project.
