Game Recap: Penguins vs. Sabres () | Anthony Angello Scores on His Childhood Team

After a successful homestand, the Penguins were hoping to take their winning ways on the road. Nine different Penguins players recorded points in this game, including Evgeni Malkin with 1G-1A--2 Pts. and goaltender Tristan Jarry recording an assist. Malkin scored off of another smart Kapanen play to get the scoring started. Anthony Angello, who grew up a few hours away from Buffalo and would attend Sabres games as a child, scored a beauty of a goal that would increase Pittsburgh’s lead to 4-2. After a failed attempt at the empty net by Tristan Jarry, Bryan Rust recovered the puck to put the game out of reach for Buffalo, and to get the netminder another assist on the season.
