My Room (sample essay) We live in a three bedroom flat. The room I like best in our flat is my bedroom. I use my room as a study and a bedroom. It is very nice and cosy. There isn’t much furniture in it. On the left there is my bed and a desk next to it. The desk has a lot of drawers where I keep my text-books, notes, pens, pencils and other things. There is my PC on the desk. On the right there is a sofa and a wardrobe. In the right corner there is a comfortable armchair. There are two bookcases with books in my room. There is a big carpet on the floor. There are some posters with my favourite singers on the walls. I like my room very much. My room is a nice place for both rest and studying. If you want to describe your room it is important to follow the plan as well as to use proper prepositions of place and grammar constructions such as “there is\are”. This skill might help you in lots of situations such as sharing impressions about your new room and searching lost properties in it.
