La Vuelta 2021 Stage 14 Highlights | Up To The Mountains!

Into the last week of La Vuelta the riders will tackle a climb new to this year’s edition of the tour, the Pico Villercas. Before that, the race starts at Don Benito with flat terrain that quickly starts to rise as the race moves towards Cañamero, tackling the first climb of Puerto de Berzocama at an average of 5.2% for . A quick descent down riders will have to put in another effort to get over a steeper climb towards Collado de Ballesteros, with the first, second and third kilometers averaging 10 and 15 and 14 percent respectively. Another descent down and riders are met with an intermediate sprint that could include a mixed bag after several tough climbs, followed by the final ascent of the Ballesteros pass for averaging 6.2%.
