Desert Eagle suppressor - Working on subsonic loads

Working on a subsonic .44 Mag loading that will cycle every time in the gun. These loads had previously run well, when shooting in warm weather. Apparently the gun doesn’t like the cold as well. Additionally, I was shooting with the can “wet“ for the first time on this gun. Adding some kind of coolant to the suppressor, a teaspoon of water in this instance, further reduces the sound levels by cooling the gasses before they can escape. It apparently works too well, as it dropped the gas pressure to the point the gun would not run with the subsonic loads. I’ve still got some 300 grain subsonic loads that should work. I’ll try them out in the cold the next chance I get.
