There’s a line, ‘Frail solace of an hour/ So soon our transient comforts fly / And pleasure blooms to die.’ It’s meditation on the ephemeral, and I love it.” ’Let the Soil Play Its Simple Part’ is an album of songs written and performed by Caroline Shaw and Sō Percussion.
