Flying Wings (1933)

South Bend, Indiana, United States of America. “Here’s a new idea which may revolutionise flying.“ Inventor Dr Sneider (sp?) is seen standing beside his new invention “the flying wing“. It is a strange looking aircraft that has a fan-like wing which fills in the gap between the ordinary wings and the tail of the aircraft. It looks very odd and obviously didn’t catch on. We see the plane take off, fly through the air and land. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
