Bill Wesley Nail Violin performance at Kalimba Center

The array organ consists of nails tuned by the length they stand above the sound board, longer = lower, shorter = higher. the nails are arranged in octave rows, the octave rows are arranged in circle of fifths order. The fingers and thumbs are coated in dancers rosin and the nails are bowed when rubbed by the fingers. One finger may activate an entire octave row and so with 8 fingers large chords are possible with voicing that covers many octaves at once. The instrument can play anything in any key signature.
