Битва за Севастополь Battle for Sevastopol FULL MOVIE **English (American) Translation**

This is my translation of the 2015 Russian film “Battle for Sevastopol.“ I do not own the copyright nor do I profit in any way from sharing this film. This is for educational purposes for students of the Russian language and American English. Battle for Sevastopol is a biographical film about the life of Lyudmila Pavlichenko, one of the Red Army’s finest snipers during World War II. She is credited with killing 309 Nazis including some of the Wehrmacht’s finest snipers. Lyudmila came to the US as part of a Soviet delegation which was begging for American support in the war, which the US had not yet joined. The 25-year-old sniper famously asked if American men would continue to hide behind her. Pavlichenko was also a life-long friend of US First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The story of their acquaintance is covered in this remarkable film. Warning: This is a film about WW2. There is violence and adult subject matter.
