Disco Ball Fashion Shoot - 90’s Glam Style Using 3 Strobes | Fashion Photography with Lindsay Adler

In today’s video, we are going to create dazzling effects during a photoshoot by using a disco ball inspired by 90s supermodel glam! Watch as we create dramatic effects by restricting and controlling your light. Many portrait photographers are used to soft light or light that broadly covers a scene, like softboxes and umbrellas. If you want to achieve a disco effect you will have to try grids, hard light, and other restricted light sources like the Westcott Optical Spot. In this video, we build a 3-light setup using strobes where each light contributes to the dramatic (and sparkly) final look. 00:00 Intro 01:15 Creative lighting guide 01:38 Quality of light 02:30 Soft light source example 03:00 Hard quality of light example 03:45 Adding a grid 04:45 The direction of light 07:22 Adding light to the model 08:05 The Westcott Optical Spot 09:00 Adding a third strobe 10:34 Getting the shot 10:55 Final shots 11:06 Outro SUBSCRIBE AND BE PA
