“Dead and Lovely” - Tom Waits/Marc Ribot (+ my own improvised solo!) Gibson es125 Jazz noir

Click here to purchase my complete transcription for this awesome solo!.. I originally did a video on this great solo almost 10 years ago!.. I decided it was about time to revisit and try to really nail the tone of the original recording in finer detail. As with the video from 10 years back, once Marc Ribot’s solo finishes at the 40 second mark, I do a little spot of improvisation. It’s impossible to resist having a crack at playing over these lovely chord changes! If you’re interested in my approach, please comment down below and I’ll consider doing a video breakdown with some tips and tricks for playing in this style.
