U.S. troops are being targeted at several military bases across Iraq and Syria amid Israel-Hamas war after a warning by Iran-backed groups. Drones and rockets were fired at the Ain Al-Asad air base hosting U.S. forces in Iraq. Reuters reported multiple blasts inside the base, following which the Iraqi military closed the area around the base & started a search operation. Another rocket hit an U.S. military base near Baghdad’s international airport. The latest attacks take to four in the past 24 hours targeting Iraqi military bases.
