Mentrix - Nature

Accompanying the release of Iranian Berlin-based singer, composer and songwriter Mentrix’s debut LP ’My Enemy, My Love’, French director Gilles Estève conceived and directed 3 films illustrating 3 different tracks of the record. ’Nature’ is the second release of this series. Tale of duality and seeking, another cinematic venture where the artist’s search for the true Self takes the viewer on a mesmerising journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Kavir-e-Lut, in eastern Iran; a wild desert landscape rarely seen and known to be one of the hottest places on earth. A celebration of Life in almost lifeless setting.
