VIDEO: Suspect shoots Texas man after following him home from bank, police say

A Duncanville man was critically wounded in a shooting in his driveway, and officials believe the suspects followed him home from a bank, police officials said. The shooting happened around 5:15 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2023, in the 300 block of Linkwood Drive in Duncanville, according to a police news release. This is in the River Oaks neighborhood and south of Lions Park. Officers responded and found the victim, who was then taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police said witnesses told investigators that two suspects approached the man as he was pulling into his driveway. When the victim got out of his vehicle, one of the suspects shot him, according to police. Witnesses reported that the two suspects fled the area in a dark-colored Dodge Charger, but more information about the suspects was not released. Police said investigators believe the suspects followed the victim home after he visited a bank in the area. More information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting was not released.
