Palestinians win more rights at the World Health Organization

During the World Health Assembly (WHA) that took place in Geneva, Switzerland on Saturday, president of WHA Edwin Dikoloti casted a voting for a draft resolution that aims to harmonise Palestine’s participation in World Health Organization (WHO) with its participation in the United Nations, in which member states of the WHO have granted additional rights to the Palestinians. Ryad Awaja, councillor for socio-economic affairs at the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine was then congratulated by dozens of diplomats in the room.
