Website： Instagram facebook　 瀬戸には50年以上前に産業を支えた、その土地独特の伝統ある技術があります。時代と共に失われつつあるこの技術は、私に何よりも強いインスピレーションを与え、作品の可能性を広げてくれました。 今私の中に息づく、受け継がれた伝統的技術要素と作家としての革新的要素。この二つを調和することにより生まれる、古めかしさを内包しつつも、現代に通用する新しい表現で、より多くの人々の琴線に触れる作品を目指し制作しています。 「作るとは」 私にとって作品制作とは、作品を通して、沢山の人々に今までに見たことのない感動と驚きを感じてもらい、そして喜び、元気、明るさ、癒しのきっかけになれたらと思っています。 また私自身も、作品の新しい表現へのチャレンジを続けていくことで、沢山の可能性の中で生きていける事は大きな喜びです。 Seto has the traditional technology unique to the region that supported the industry more than 50 years ago. The traditional technical elements that have been passed down and the innovative elements as a writer that are alive in me now. While incorporating the old-fashionedness that is created by harmonizing these two, I am aiming to create a work that touches the chords of as many people as possible with new expressions that are valid today. “What is making to you?“ For me, creating a work means making many people feel the excitement and surprise that I have never seen before, and I hope that it will be a catalyst for joy, energy, brightness, and healing.
