Hot Tent Camping in the Rain with my Dog | New Tent & Wood Stove Cooking; Steak, Shakshuka & Oatmeal

Meet my new pup, Honey Pie! Join us on our first camping adventure together in the woods of Halton Hills. A rainy spring weekend was a great time to try out my new Hex Plus tent from @POMOLY. After a swim at the nearby lake, we cooked up some steak for the boy and shakshuka for myself. Super delicious meal consisting of pepper, onion, diced tomato, a selection of spices, eggs, topped with feta cheese and parsley. Although the evening dropped to about 2°C, the T1 Mini 3 kept us nice and toasty and was great to cook on. In the morning the sun came out and I had coffee in a new @hydroflask mug which was a birthday gift. Made oatmeal in a mess tin with walnuts, cashews, raspberries, blackberries and a drizzle of syrup on top. Great way to wake up before packing up camp and heading home! I’ve added captions on this video to add more context into our trips. I’ll be doing this with past videos and any new content to come this year. *Disclaimer: I setup the stove chimney very poorly (it looked much easier on the internet)! Always be careful when hot tenting and make sure you have a CO2 monitor. I have since ordered a stackable chimney for our next trip.
