After a long wait and a canceled sequel, the eccentric bio-exorcist Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) is coming back in Beetlejuice 2, over 30 years after the release of his debut movie. Beetlejuice 2 is already charged with nostalgia with the return of Tim Burton as director, Keaton as the title character, Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz, and Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz, and it’s also introducing new and exciting characters. Beetlejuice 2 is scheduled for a September 6, 2024, release, and details about the plot are still a mystery. What’s known about Beetlejuice 2 is that it will introduce Lydia’s daughter, played by Jenna Ortega, along with Beetlejuice’s wife, played by Monica Bellucci. In addition to them, Beetlejuice 2 cast Willem Dafoe as a ghost detective, and Justin Theroux also joined the fun in an undisclosed role.
