Chelmsford, Essex. Title: “AFTER 27 YEARS ABSENCE ... the County welcomes the first Battalion of its own Regiment ... the famous ’Little Fighting Fours’.“ Various M/Ss, looking over the heads of a crowd, of a battalion of soldiers marching down a street, more crowds watch from the other side of the road, flags and bunting hangs overhead. M/S of four officers standing to attention on a field, pan to four silver drums on the ground, an elderly senior officer (Lord Shelbourne?) picks up the drums and passes one to each of the officers, a crowd watches from the far end of the field. M/S of the officers with the drums marching to join a military band, the band marches off around the field, playing music as they go. C/U of Lord Shelbourne saluting.
