How to Grow Coconut Tree

In this video I am going over how to grow coconut trees. There are many ways to start a coconut and to plant a coconut tree, I’m going over a few methods for germination. Growing coconut trees / growing coconut palms indoors is a larger and more complex discussion, there will be a different video on how to grow coconut palms indoors or how to grow coconut palm trees as houseplants. Coconuts can be started by simply potting them one half to two thirds into a container full or sand, or a soil & sand blend with equal parts sand as the minimum, but can certainly use more sand than soil also. How to sprout coconuts is pretty simple and can also be done in a bucket with a rock to weigh down the coconut, or in a large bag full of water. Place the bucket or bag somewhere warm and dark for 3 to 5 days and then go ahead and them pot them up.
