Trio for Recorders by Richard Peter Maddox

Born in Samoa, Peter grew up in Sydney and Bathurst (NSW). After working in Sydney as an accountant for a number of years he decided to study music seriously. Since retiring from the University of New England (Armidale, NSW) in 1991 he has concentrated on composing and performing, especially accompanying and conducting (the Armidale Symphony Orchestra, Fiori Musicali and the Armidale Choral Society). Most of his works are written for friends and colleagues and have received performances in Armidale and elsewhere. Tim plays a treble by Michael Grinter. Jen plays a treble by the Takeyama Workshop. Ellen plays a tenor by Paetzold (Kunath). This was part of a concert given in May 2022 as part of the Three Towers Festival, Stanton Prior.
