Autumn has been here for a while! A crisp blue sky and a fresh chill in the air. I can feel my excitement about autumn’s rusty toned glory. The leaves are falling, and the more leaves we have to rake and sweep, the more we know that winter is near. What a strange feeling. Because summer is different, somehow we don’t expect it to end. We think it will last forever. So we burn as if there is no tomorrow. But autumn is so short, so transitionary, that while I love autumn I also can’t stop thinking about the winter.
