India says government links to US murder plot “contrary to policy“

India has launched high-level inquiry into US allegations linking the government to a plot to murder a Sikh separatist on American soil. New Delhi said the issue is a matter of concern and contrary to government policy. The US Justice Department has filed murder-for-hire charges against Nikhil Gupta, an Indian national.
