City Code Enforcement OFFICER Showed Up At The SAME TIME I Did

One day I was driving around my neighborhood and noticed this overgrown property. I knocked on the door and nobody answered. I decided to return the next day & give this property a free makeover. After countless failed attempts to reach the owner, it seemed as if this place was just abandoned due to the neglected condition of the property/home itself. When I arrived to clean this place up, the city code enforcement officer showed up at the same time (awkward). He didn’t exit his vehicle. We just stood there both for about 15 minutes until he decided to leave. I think he just assumed I was there to mow it down. Was he going to site this homeowner for a violation? I am not sure.
