Raging waters in the USA: flooding hits New Jersey

Floods continue in the USA! Although this week’s heavy rainfall has ended, the resulting flooding has not stopped, and many neighborhoods and roads around North Jersey are still underwater days later. Earlier this week, the mayor declared a state of emergency due to flooding. One reason for this is that in many places the flooding was aggravated by overflowing rivers. The Rockaway River is still above the minor flood stage of 5 feet but crested around 3 a.m. Tuesday at feet near Boonton. The river is now returning to normal levels. The Hackensack River crested Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. at feet near New Milford and the water level has since dropped back to a low of about 2 feet. #USA #typhoon #rain #cyclone #flood #newjersey #volcano #earthquake #weather #disasters #storm #news #floods #Jersey The channel lists natural disasters such as: 1) Emergency geological situations: earthquake, volcanic eruption, mud, landslide, landslide, avalanche; 2) Emergency hydrological situations: flood, tsunami, limnological disaster, flood, flood; 3) Fires: forest fire, peat fire; 4) Meteorological emergencies: Tornado, Cyclone, Blizzard, Hail, Drought, Tornado, Hail, Hurricane, Tsunami, Storm, Thunderstorm, Storm.
