Israel Intercepts Missile, US Navy Downs Drone From Yemen Amid UK Alert, Japan Slams Gaza Casualties

The Israeli military says the Arrow system intercepted a surface-to-surface missile over the Red Sea aimed at the Eilat city. The missile believed to have been launched from Yemen “did not cross into Israeli territory and did not pose a threat to civilians”. IDF said it shelled Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon after several rockets were fired at IDF posts along the border. A rocket launched from the Gaza Strip during the barrage at the southern city of Beersheba damaged a parking lot.
