NASA Dryden Welcomes SNC’s Dream Chaser for Testing

Sierra Nevada Corp. (SNC) Space Systems’ Dream Chaser test flight craft, also known as an engineering test article, arrived at NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center in Edwards, Calif., May 15 to begin tests of its flight and runway landing systems. With its wings and tail structure removed and shrouded in plastic wrap, the test article was transported from the company’s facility in Louisville, Colo., atop a flatbed truck and trailer.
