Intense Bodycam Footage Shows Police Use PIT Maneuver To Arrest Carjacking Suspects

* (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) * Gwinnett County, Georgia — On February 26, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Gwinnett County Police officers assigned to West precinct, with assistance from Flock cameras, located a stolen vehicle where the victim was carjacked and shot. The initial incident occurred inside the city of Suwanee on February 25. Officers attempted to stop the suspect vehicle near South Berkely Lake Road and South Old Peachtree Road in unincorporated Norcross. The suspects failed to yield and attempted to elude officers. A PIT maneuver was executed by officers, causing the suspect vehicle to come to a stop. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as James Steven Casey (age 19, Bloomingdale), and his passenger, Deaundrey Marques Everett (age 22, Decatur), fled from officers on foot.
