Official HD Video for “Games People Play“ by The Alan Parsons Project `Games People Play’ was the second single from the Alan Parsons Project’s 5th studio album The Turn Of A Friendly Card and was released in 1980. The song peaked at number 16 in the US charts and has remained one of the APP’s most popular singles ever since. Lenny Zakatek was chosen to sing the upbeat song about the dangers of gambling and can be seen in the video alongside APP stalwarts Stuart Elliott on drums, David Paton and Ian Bairnson on guitars. APP founder and songwriter Eric Woolfson (on keyboard) and producer Alan Parsons (at the mixing desk) also appear in the video. The title came from a psychology book of the same name, which Eric’s wife Hazel was reading at the time.
