Mysterious Sichuan Wonderful Vision Craftsman’s craftsmanship

The Miao batik dyeing technique, along with tie dyeing and hollow out printing, was known as the three major printing techniques in China in ancient times. It belongs to the treasure of ancient and mysterious traditional Shu craftsmanship and Shu art. Among the numerous traditional processes, many printing and dyeing have been produced on a modern scale, but wax printing can only and still insists on using traditional manual methods for printing. Although wax dyeing production has numerous difficulties such as time-consuming, high labor production costs, and strict requirements for craftsmanship. The filming team went to the Miao village to conduct in-depth research and filming on the Miao people’s batik art and culture, as well as the eight processes involved in production. They explored the charm of batik art and the craftsmanship of batik craftsmen who only do one thing in their lifetime, guarding the craftsmanship of the mountains in Bashu.
