Open the full video description for more information. _________________ Boiling the axe handle for 30-60 minutes makes the wood soft - the axe head can go down a bit longer on the wood handle, the snakehead wedge can a lot easier split the wood and expand the wood above the axe head like a big “mushroom“ making it impossible for the axe head to fly off doing use. If done right will the axe head be a perfect tight fit on the handle after a few days of slow drying.
