Here is a quick and funny way that helped me to entertain my son as a baby. This is the knee-bouncing game “Trot-trot to Boston“. All you have to do is lay your child face-up on your knees and move them gentely up and down while singing the song. At the end of every second line bring the baby down and then lift it back up as in the video. Trot trot to Boston. Trot trot to Lynn. Watch out baby, don’t fall in! Trot trot to Boston. Trot trot to Dover. Watch out baby, don’t fall over! Trot trot to Boston. Trot trot to Town. Watch out baby, don’t fall down! Language note: TROT = to run slowly, taking short regular steps.
