The rise and fall of empires, the expansion into what will become known as the Human Sphere and the ascendance and ebb of Mechwarrior technology as it is created, destroyed, rediscovered and abused is a tale that covers DOZENS of books across four decades. With the new players coming to it for the first time through their model kits and partners like Barnes and Noble and Target reaching a new audience, this book seeks to make all of what I just described more approachable.
