Steve Winwood - Don’t You Know What The Night Can Do? (7“ Remix)

The second single released from his Roll With It album , this is the single remix taken from the US 7“ single. Written by Winwood, it peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 6 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart, No. 8 on the Singles Sales chart, No. 2 on the Adult Contemporary chart and spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. All in all the single spent 11 weeks inside the Top 40! And it deserved every bit of it. In my opinion it’s the best song on the album. Of course, some of you will remember the Michelob commercial that debuted this song before it’s actual single release. For me, this song and Eric Clapton’s 1988 re-recording of After Midnight will forever be tied together, both being featured in Michelob commercials. Enjoy!
