International Solidarity With Palestine

People worldwide have taken to the streets to express their solidarity with the Palestinian struggle after the start of the unprecedented offensive operation “Al-Aqsa Flood“ into occupied Palestinian territory. Meanwhile, Western governments have once again expressed solidarity with Israel, ignoring the fact that Palestinians have suffered decades of violence at the hands of the settler-colonial Israeli state. In a move further fueling the possibility of a regional war, the US announced that they are sending military ships, including an aircraft carrier group, to the eastern Mediterranean to support Israel. It will also augment USAF fighter aircraft squadrons in the Middle East and transfer them to bases where they will be available for operations against Iran, following reports of Iranian involvement in planning the offensive. Palestinian resistance groups have repeatedly called on other Arab and Muslim states to join the fight against Israel; one of the most influential Lebanese militant groups and a close ally of Iran has already responded to the call and launched strikes on Israel over the weekend. Israel has responded by bombing multiple targets in southern Lebanon.
