Photographs of East Anglia: 1886-1887

Here I present a series of wonderful photographs by the great English photographer, Peter Henry Emerson. His photographs are early examples of promoting photography as an art form. He is known for taking photographs that displayed natural settings and also for the disputes he had with the photographic establishment about the purpose and meaning of photography...... These photographs of East Anglian life are quite beautiful and gice a really wonderful impression of late Victorian rural life.
