The cricketer is Tony Lock of England and Surrey who is coaching boys of the Grocers Company School in Hackney. Various shots of Tony, the schoolboys and the inventor of a new cricket device David Petri. This new device is a “deflector“ which ensures that the ball will always come off at one of the required angles. The players can concentrate on their catching. The ball is self returning so no time is wasted having to retrieve it from the boundary. Various shots of the device being used.
