This is Alex’s Caves- a new mod released for Minecraft Forge that aims to build upon the foundation that Mojang laid down with ’s Caves and Cliffs Update. With 5 new distinct caves upon initial release, Alex’s Caves intends to add bizarre, yet extraordinary caves never seen before- this means no simple mushroom or crystal caves! Each cave is host to a unique set of blocks and mobs, both hostile and passive, along with unreal contents, tools and weapons that make the expedition to one worthwhile- these caves are the stuff of legend and are not an easy find.
