Dee D. Jackson: Shotgun [Compilation, 1981-88)

After Dee D. Jackson’s successful Cosmic Curves album with her big hit Automatic Lover from 1978, her second album, 1980’s Thunder & Lightning, was largely overlooked. Two more singles followed on the Jupiter Records label (now under distribution by Teldec), Talk Me Down in 1981 and Shotgun in 1982, none of which were successful. Deirdre, now settled in Italy, released a couple of more singles there before disappearing from view for 10 years before she released a new album in 1995, Blame It On The Rain. I have compiled Dee D. Jackson’s 80’s output here, including the 10th anniversary remix of Automatic Lover by Michael Cretu. 00:00 Talk Me Down (1981 Single) 03:31 .
