A declassified U.S. Air Force film entitled “Any Target Any Time: Tactical Weapons Systems in Southeast Asia” and made during the closing years of the Vietnam War, this film explores the power of new aircraft and missiles during the war. Marking a giant leap forward in combat, the film discusses the need for advanced air support considering the forest canopies of Vietnam at mark 02:20 and ground-to-air missiles used by the North Vietnamese. To illustrate this point, at mark 03:50, the film reminds the viewer that although U.S. aircraft bombed the Ho Chi Minh Trail, a logical system that wound its way through North Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, on a regular basis, enemy work crews were quickly able to repair any damage.
